About us

For the past half century, Restaurant Snekken stood at this address. Through wind and weather it held its ground. This year brought a wish to set a new course, and so Fadi from Café Oskar was drawn into the place and its history. He stepped in, took over the old restaurant and gave it new life.

The whole building has been renovated from top to bottom and given entirely new surroundings. We have worked hard since February to open the doors on our new restaurant — one that will bring joy and good times to Vordingborg for many years to come.

In the kitchen you'll find our head chef Benjamin, who has been around the country quite literally. From Molskroen in Ebeltoft to the former Restaurant Babette, then all the way north to Ruths Hotel in Skagen, and most recently Restaurant Jordnær in Gentofte.

Fadi and Benjamin first met at Restaurant Babette back in 2019 and took to each other quickly. That friendship has now turned into a shared restaurant in the heart of Vordingborg.

Our ambition is to offer refined cooking and at the same time have room for larger gatherings in this beautiful space. To begin with we can seat around 60–70 guests, and once the terrace is brought together with the indoor area, we reach around 120.

To mark the new chapter we decided on a new name, and we landed on Nordhavn 32.
